In Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, you are shown an animated adaptation of Paris as well as two ordinary teenagers named Adrien and Marinette who have secret super powers.  In school, they are both peers. Each episode of Miraculous is around 22 minutes long. It is great for a small amount of time to watch a show. The show also has a faster pace with a new villain each week. Each episode introduces a new akumatized citizen, follows the heroes fighting the episodes villain, and wraps up the episode right before the credits roll. This makes each episode seem almost self contained and makes it easy to jump into any episode. The only thing that doesn't seem self contained is the building romantic tension between Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir. This show is also great for watching on a quick commute on an Android phone. The bright animation and strong, punching action keep you engaged and make it easy to not think about the plot. If you need a something to watch on a second screen or something with bright colors in the background this is perfect for that too. The first few seasons have a repetitive formula which can make watching too many episodes make the show boring and predictable. To avoid this I recommend watching the show no more than a few episodes at a time.

Because of the romantic misunderstanding at the show’s core, it can lead to irritation for the older audience. It can lead to frustration for the audience who want to see more direct action. The villain’s action leads to repetitive moments, but they provide solid action, so the lack of variation really only applies to stretches over multiple seasons.
